I had a thought, probably not very originally, recently that creating minimalist photographs is like making soufflés, everything has to be done just-so in order to get a great results. Too many of my attempts end up flat, which is why I appreciate those that can do them well.

@sarble@gram.social I love that soufflé analogy! For me, minimalist photography often feels like sculpting with absence. Subtracting, trimming, silencing the noise - until what’s left feels essential. Not perfect, just… purposeful. And yes, sometimes it collapses. But every now and then, it holds. And that’s enough to keep trying.
