It makes me think of an ultrasound, an x-ray and a miniature world found under a microscope, all at once.

I didn't think of the ultrasound and x-ray, that's interesting! But the idea of miniature world is very much on my mind. I love ancient cartography and I was thinking of medieval mappa mundi, where you can see tiny kingdoms and castles with their names written in very small calligraphy 😊

Yes they tell a lot about the psyche of a society, for sure.
