Yay! My new @nitrokey 3 Mini did arrive 😊 Open source crypto-module done right. It’s already my 3rd one (I have already the big Nitrokey 3A and a Nitrokey HSM for my PKI) The mini will be my backup key with its own GPG subkeys just to have redundancy plus I’ll add it as a second Passkey to several websites.#opensource #nitrokey #gpg #fido2 #crypto

@danisanti it runs on Rust (the firmware inside the device was written in it, that’s a good thing), but you don’t need Rust on your computer to use it.

The management utility (nitropy) is written in Python.

Plus the secret keys are actually stored in the certified secure element (SE040)
