@danisanti it runs on Rust (the firmware inside the device was written in it, that’s a good thing), but you don’t need Rust on your computer to use it. The management utility (nitropy) is written in Python. Plus the secret keys are actually stored in the certified secure element (SE040)

Okay. So, as far as I am understanding, rust is only needed to compile the nitrokey's firmware? Which is something optional, since nitrokeys hardware already come with the firmware "installed".
